Tim Holmes is a guitarist, songwriter, performer, and teacher from New York. Passionate about American music, Holmes’ musical style dwells in the fertile crossroads between blues and jazz. This fruitful combination emerges in different styles for Holmes’ guitar to dig in to, ranging from blues-punk to hard-hitting funk & progressive fusion.

Holmes crafted his musical identity in middle/high school while playing with several bands in the NY/metro area, including Radio Silence, the Crash Native, & Taylored. These bands gigged rigorously, toured, had TV features, and opened for pop/alternative acts including Capital Cities & Usher. During this time, Tim also worked as a partner in Manhattan & New Jersey music studios, writing jingles and working as a session guitarist.

Holmes is currently working as the frontman of a brand new group while he finishes his Bachelor of Music Degree in performance & music education from Berklee College of Music. His new musical project is set to debut in 2018.
